Why should we develop a regular writing habit?
One thing that I have definitely realised during my UPSC prep is the importance of writing. 85% of your performance that gets counted in UPSC is linked to how well you can write.
In the long term, whatever career path I choose, my writing skill is going to play an important role.
I am currently taking baby steps and trying to learn from many experts on the internet. (I call them Virtual Teachers)
To me writing helps me to get clarity about what I think. Many times I feel like I know a topic well. Only when I begin to write, I realise the gaps in my understanding.
I have collated a set of tweets that I had bookmarked related the practice of writing.
Whatever field you are currently working in, the skill of writing will help you to grow at a rapid pace.
I thank you for your time. I hope to continuously improve my skill and create value for you through the content I share.

A daily writing habit is one of the best things you can do for yourself because in a world of endless distractions, it forces you to slow down and listen to your thoughts.

Quick hack to improve your writing:
Write 1 tweet per day.
280-character constraints force:
• Clarity
• Readability
• ConcisenessNot to mention, you're competing for attention.
So you'll learn to hook a reader, then deliver them a nugget of value.

Writing online is a game, sort of like playing with LEGOs.
Use templates to get to the heart of what you're trying to say, and cut the rest.
